90mm FLUSH CASEMENT WINDOWS.

Flush 90mm Casement windows are particularly suited to properties that pre-date the 1940's and you will easily identify this window system in 1930's homes, specifically bay windows, Edwardian properties, farm houses and cottages pre-dating the 1900's and all period Homes in general.

The flush fitting appearence is a very traditional window style and the opening casements are neatly set into the surround frame and do not protrude from the frame, hence it's description "FLUSH" casement. Flush casement frames are nearly always 90mm or 100mm deep, this is a significant difference in frame depth to its modern couterpart the 70mm stormproof casement and these facts are important to note, when replacing windows, you should always select a replacement frame thickness that replicates the original.

The flush casement is also manufactured in fully ENGINEERED, semi-engineered finger jointing and solid timber construction, all window types are fully factory double glazed, draught-proof and fitted with multi-point locking. CJS specify all our flush casement windows as standard in fully factory pre-finished paint or stain and all flush casements are produced as standard in joinery graded Swedish Redwood.

The flush casement is our most frequently specified and requested timber system from our Customers, this is largely due to the dominance of this period window within the geography that we operate and the fact that a flush casement offers performance and aesthetics way above any alternative in the market place.
